Dr. Belanger and her husband, Dr. Book, took ownership of the practice in 1999. Dr. Belanger attended Cornell University where she obtained both her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She lives on the family farm with her husband and two great kids, Miles and Avery.

They have an array of pets; Reggie the dog, Michael, Theo, and Ferris their housecats, their barn cats that are all named after the kings and queens from the book Narnia, sheep, peafowl, chickens, Score and Lakota their horses and an alpaca. In her spare time she enjoys spinning and knitting the wool from her own sheep and spending time with her family.
